A verdict has been reached in an Evansville murder trial.
A jury found Christopher Boyd Junior guilty.
He’s now been convicted of the shooting death of 34-year-old Jerry Hale.
The shooting took place on East Riverside Drive on New Year’s Day.
The prosecution rested on Tuesday and the defense made a motion for a directed verdict which was denied.
Boyd will be sentenced on December 19.
