This is Veterans Day — no mail delivery and many banks and government offices are closed.
There are several events commemorating those who have been members of US Military branches.
Locust Hill Cemetery will have a service at 11:00 inside the Chapel of Eternal Peace.
Today at 1:00 Oak Hill Cemetery will have a service at the Veterans Plaza.
The WIKY Veterans Day Breakfast sponsored by Browning offers veterans a free breakfast until 10:00 this morning.
