More details are coming out concerning an officer-involved shooting last month in Mt. Carmel.
16-year-old Uriah Howder was shot and killed and another teen was injured.
Investigators say it started earlier that night when a 911 caller reported a teen hitting a 17-year-old girl at a gas station.
As Sergeant Gilbert Santos grabbed the teen’s wrist to arrest him, Howder pulled a knife and yelled “kill me”.
Santos fired two shots.
Wabash County State Attorney Kelli Strockman says the investigation showed no wrongdoing on Santos’ part.
