Two people were picked up on drug-related charges Friday afternoon in Evansville.
EPD was patrolling W. Virginia Street when they spotted Brandt Johns outside an apartment building.
He was wanted on several active warrants for his arrest.
When officers pulled up to the apartment Johns ran towards the building.
He allegedly pulled something from his pants and handed it to Heather Barnett.
She was also wanted on an active warrant.
Among the items given to police included three plastic baggies containing around 23 grams of meth.
Two plastic smoking devices were found in Barnett’s hoodie pocket.
