Turnout for early and mail-in voting has been brisk.
In Vanderburgh County, so far, 2,500 people showed up to vote in person during the first four days of early voting.
In addition, there have been 5,000 mail-in ballots requested, and about 1,300 of those have already been returned.
Clerk of Court, Marsha Abel-Barnhart calls the local turnout “heavy” for Vanderburgh County and hopes the trend will continue through election day.
