Six Local Organizations Will Receive Funding From Opioid Settlement

The Evansville City Council met last night and approved which organizations would receive funding from the Opioid Settlement.

The Mayor’s committee chose the YWCA Evansville, Evansville Rescue Mission, Vanderburgh County Mental Health Court, EPD, Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office, and The Deaconess Women’s Hospital.

All commissioners except Courtney Johnson voted to move forward with the funding given to the chosen organizations.
