You will occasionally see a warning on tobacco or alcohol products that say the Surgeon General has deemed this product hazardous to your health. Now, the Surgeon General has warned that being a parent could be affecting health as well.

First reported by USA Today, the Surgeon General says nearly two-fifths of parents say on some days they are “so stressed, they can’t function”. The Surgeon General also found that parents of children under 18 rank their stress level as 8 out of 10. With childcare prices on the rise, parents are getting more and more stressed to find ways to afford not only their lives, but their children as well.
