An Evansville woman is charged with animal cruelty after the death of one of her dogs.
Police were called to the home of Taina Elpers on Van Dusen Avenue because the dog, named Bingo, had died.
Elpers told officers the dog must have tried to break out of his kennel the night before and broke his neck.
When police went downstairs and out to the sunroom, the entire downstairs floor was covered in dog feces.
Bingo, and another dog that was still alive, were removed from the home, and Elpers was arrested.
