An Owensville father is facing serious charges for an incident that happened Sunday morning.
24-year-old Austin McGill was caring for his three children when he allegedly struck and pointed a loaded firearm at his 8-year-old stepdaughter.
On Monday the Gibson County Prosecutor’s Office filed criminal charges against McGill and an arrest warrant was issued.
He turned himself in around 12:30 yesterday afternoon.
McGill is charged with neglect of a dependent, domestic battery, and pointing a firearm at another person.
The children’s mother was not home at the time.
