The coroner confirms 28-year-old Kelzie Mae Canary died on August 27 while trying to get her car out of a ditch after a crash.
The fatal incident happened on Martin Avenue near Mater Dei.
A benefit dinner is this Saturday at Aldersgate Church on Lincoln Avenue.
Dinner is $15 with donations accepted starting at 5 PM.
Canary was a mother of four children.
Her mother is now raising them.
