An apparent arson is under investigation and an Evansville Fire Department Investigator has been brought in to help.
A woman inside the home in the 1500 block of South Morton Avenue told police she heard some noises outside late Monday evening.
She noticed a strong smell of gasoline when she went outside to check.
Police noticed burn marks in the grass near the back porch.
The report shows the homeowner has some video evidence.
