The parents of a one-year-old are behind bars in Daviess County.
On August 1 an ambulance was called to a residence for an accidental poisoning.
Jesika Riggs and Patro Stevenson told police that the child ingested an unknown substance and was moving very slowly.
During a search of the home officers seized meth, marijuana, and drug paraphernalia.
An investigation revealed that the child likely ingested edible marijuana gummies after an empty bottle was found.
The one-year-old was transported to Norton Children’s Hospital in Louisville.
