Thousands Of Visitors Gathering At Annual ROMP Festival

The Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum’s four-day music festival — ROMP — is under way in Owensboro.

Organizers expect more than 25,000 people to come and hear a musical lineup of 25 artists.

For many, ROMP has become a family tradition.

Organizers say the key to the festival’s 20 years of success is the quality of the acts.

Proceeds from the annual event benefit the Bluegrass Music Hall of Fame and Museum.
