The Evansville Police Department is investigating an officer-involved shooting that happened during a traffic stop.
Tuesday night an officer pulled a vehicle over at Olive and Harlan Avenue.
The officer noticed that the passenger had a gun and asked both occupants to get out.
Passenger Michael Johnson got into a struggle with the officer.
A gun Johnson had went off hitting him in the arm.
The weapon was discovered stolen.
Johnson was treated for his injury at a hospital and jailed.
