A Morganfield man is lucky to be alive after his house caught fire.
It happened around 3:30 Sunday morning in the 1600 block of Meadow Road.
The man was asleep inside the burning home when his neighbor rushed in and got him out.
The house was a total loss by the time firefighters extinguished the flames.
The man says he was able to save a precious photo album.
The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
