The Madisonville Police Department has new information on the death of an 8 year old boy.
It was first thought that Trey Harris had died from eating strawberries sold at a school fundraiser.
The results provided by the FDA were the strawberries did not contain anything dangerous.
Earlier this week the Hopkins County coroner confirmed that Harris had died from a fentanyl overdose.
His stepfather Antonio Person was arrested and charged with manslaughter after a large amount of fentanyl was found at his home.
The investigation into how the 8 year old got ahold of the drug continues.
