Evansville Fire Chief Clears Up Rumors Of Station Closing

Rumors that Evansville Fire Station 14 is closing are not true.

So says Fire Chief Tony Night in response to the concerns of neighbors.

Knight met with members of the Lincolnshire Neighborhood Association to tell them the fire station is remaining open.

The department is transferring one of its trucks to Station 16 to help with coverage on the east and south sides of the city.
