Habitat for Humanity of Evansville is celebrating its 40th anniversary as an organization by dedicating its 598th home today to its newest homeowner Abby.
Since 1984 they have devoted to providing local families in need with access to decent affordable housing.
Habitat for Humanity of Evansville was the first Habitat affiliate in Indiana and continues to be one of the top-producing affiliates in the country.
On May 8 Habitat will dedicate its 600th home at 612 Covert Avenue in the Tepe Park Neighborhood.
