A Kentucky State trooper attempted to perform a traffic stop on Highway 41 North on 40-year-old Nicholas Easton on Tuesday.
He failed to stop and was pursued by KSP and was observed throwing bags of suspected meth from the vehicle.
Easton was apprehended in the 1700 block of Clay Street.
A search of Easton and the vehicle resulted in the finding of marijuana, meth, fentanyl patches, counterfeit Percocet suspected to contain fentanyl and a loaded .45 caliber handgun.
He was taken to the Henderson County Detention Center.
