Saturday night officers responded to the 800 block of Lohoff Avenue after a complaint of a loose dog running around.
Officers spoke to the owner 35-year-old Clifford Johns II who told them he and his father 62-year-old Clifford Johns come and go and don’t live there.
During a search of the home, officers found a bucket of feces and urine inside.
Also found, was human and dog feces throughout the home.
Two dogs were seized by animal control after one of the dogs tried to attack the officers.
Both men were arrested and charged with animal cruelty.
