An Evansville man without a license or insurance, and believed to be drunk was involved in an accident Saturday night.
Police were called to 3 North First Avenue at about 9:00 pm and came across a collision between a Mercedes and a Ford.
Officers spoke to Tyshaun Herring whom they say exhibited a strong alcohol odor, and refused sobriety tests.
Herring refused to identify himself until police answered his phone and got his name and birthday from the caller.
He was jailed on a list of charges.
