Last Sunday multiple law enforcement officers were dispatched to a residence in Gibson County.
The caller reported that their neighbor was actively attempting to break into their house.
While officers were en route the caller said his neighbor 47-year-old Timothy Dowdy was intoxicated and in the yard shooting a firearm.
Before officers arrived Dowdy was back in his residence and a short standoff ensued.
During the standoff, 36-year-old Brittany Marginet, who lives with Dowdy arrived.
An officer detected alcohol on her breath and began a DUI investigation.
Dowdy and Marginet were both transported to jail.
