The Vanderburgh County Commissioners unveiled “Anchor Playground” at Burdette Park on Monday.
The children’s playground is named after a well-known business and its sponsor Anchor Industries.
It’s located in the heart of Burdette Park and is designed to accommodate children of all abilities.
Anchor Industries has equipped the playground with two Funbrellas that will provide essential shade.
Anchor Industries has been a local manufacturer in Evansville since 1892.
