The parents charged with neglect last week for the death of their baby were in court Wednesday.
Shane Hedrick is now facing a murder charge and has a $1 million bond.
Loreena Nance was charged with neglect and her bond is set at $15,000.
Last Thursday deputies responded to the 6100 block of Dana Drive for a medical emergency.
The baby was taken to the hospital where he died.
Hedrick admitted to striking the baby.
The parents were arrested in September on neglect charges.
They both have attorney conferences on February 21.
