A person is missing after a house explosion in Dubois County last night.
The home is in the 2200 block of Hillham Road southwest of French Lick.
Lost River Township Fire reports that the explosion could be heard ten miles away.
Houses half a mile away received superficial damage such as broken windows.
Fires caused by the explosion took around 3 hours to extinguish.
The search for the missing adult male was called off last night but will resume this morning.
The cause of the explosion is still under investigation.
