Two minutes before the new year Gibson County Dispatch received a 9-1-1 report of a single-vehicle rollover accident on State Road 65 near Hazelton.
Once on scene deputies observed a vehicle on its roof and 29-year-old Dakota Whitehouse in the driver’s seat.
The deputy detected an odor of alcohol when speaking with Whitehouse.
He was arrested after a DUI roadside investigation.
Whitehouse was transported to the hospital where he was cleared and taken to jail.
Whitehouse is charged with operating a vehicle while intoxicated.
He has since posted a $450 bond.
