Rising Ohio Prevents Henderson Docks

The rising Ohio has scrapped Henderson Public Works plans to install some boat docks.

The hope had been to put a dock at the downtown riverfront, and another at Hays Boat Ramp in time for the Memorial Day Weekend.

Thanks to the rains causing the river to swell, that can’t be done.

Workers say the docks will be deployed once the river falls to a workable level.
