Pet owners around the nation are increasingly concerned about a respiratory illness that’s shown up recently in dogs.
The Vanderburgh Humane Society is putting in some extra work to ensure that the sickness doesn’t come here, and if it should, to make sure it doesn’t spread.
The illness can be spread by dogs sneezing, coughing, or breathing on one another and there’s no vaccine for it.
Pet parents should avoid doggy daycare and watch for signs of respiratory distress.
