An Evansville man was jailed late Saturday night for firing two shots.
It happened in the 1400 block of St. James Boulevard.
Investigators say 25-year-old Travis Wells was in an argument with a woman during which he fired two shots at the woman and her son.
Neither was hit but their car sustained some damage.
Wells was arrested on a charge of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
