The North High School Green Brigade won the Indiana State School Music Association Marching Band Class B competition in Indianapolis.
They are the first marching band in EVSC history to accomplish this.
A welcome parade was held for them on Sunday.
The Evansville Vanderburgh School Corporation posted a statement on Facebook that says: This achievement reflects not only the hard work and dedication of the Green Brigade but also the EVSC’s ongoing commitment to fine arts education. We know that when you pair high expectations with high support, our students can truly achieve anything.
