Evansville fire units were called to an iconic North Main business early Sunday morning.
Units arrived at Turoni’s on Main a little after 1:00 a.m.
Arriving units reported smoke coming from the roof.
They quickly tracked down the location of the fire and brought it under control in a short time.
Firefighters remained on the scene for about an hour getting rid of smoke and making sure the blaze was completely out.
Most of the damage was on the second floor; Turoni’s remained closed on Sunday.
