Lloyd Winnecke will have a new role when he ends his term as mayor.
The announcement was made yesterday of his new position as CEO of the Evansville Regional Economic Partnership.
The current CEO, Tara Barney is retiring.
Winnicke’s appointment was unanimously approved by the E-REP executive committee.
During the mayor’s 12 years in office, he has been at the center of many collaborative projects.
He will start his new job in January.
