Wednesday night a Kentucky State Trooper attempted to pull over a person believed to be intoxicated near Wrights-Landing Road in Daviess County.
The driver took off reaching speeds between 70 to 80 mph.
He failed to navigate a 90-degree turn and drove into the Ohio River.
The unidentified man was pulled from the river.
An autopsy is scheduled for today in Madisonville.
