The manhunt for a Colorado man came to an end Wednesday morning after a Ferdinand resident saw 35-year-old Brandon Gordon run through the breezeway of her home.
He had been on the run from police since Tuesday morning when a flock camera received a hit about a stolen car out of Knox County, Kentucky.
A school resource officer found the car.
While he waited for back-up the car drove off, and the chase was on.
The SUV rammed into a police car before crashing into a creek and Gordon fled on foot leaving two puppies behind.
He is facing charges of resisting law enforcement, criminal recklessness, theft, and animal cruelty.
