EVSC board member and owner of Lamasco Bar & Grill Amy Word entered a preliminary not guilty plea Thursday morning.
Word was arrested near her bar last year and charged with ‘Maintaining a Common Nuisance – Controlled Substances.
Her charges stem from an ongoing police investigation into alleged drug activity happening on West Franklin Street.
Her trial date is scheduled for the beginning of May.
