A non-profit organization that has served the tri-state for many years was the recipient of $75,000 in American Rescue Plan Act Funds.
The Vanderburgh County Council presented Habitat for Humanity of Evansville with a check on Monday.
With a mission of seeking to put God’s love into action, Habitat for Humanity brings people together to build homes, communities, and hope.
Last month the organization made history when they dedicated their first story home for a couple and their 12 children on East Tennessee Street.
