The man killed at the intersection of Division and Mary Street has been identified as 49-year-old Anthony Gibbs.
The crash happened Tuesday night around 7:30 between a jeep and a moped.
A bystander started life-saving measures on Gibbs, but he succumbed to his injuries on the scene.
Traffic was diverted to Virginia Street while Illinois and Harriet Street were closed for about an hour and a half.
