Evansville police believe they’ve solved a robbery that took place in May.
The investigation occasioned the arrest of 18-year-old Xzavier Vasquez, who was jailed on Monday.
The victim was in a car on East Illinois street where he was to meet a girl for sex.
When she got into the car, a man believed to be Vasquez knocked on the window and then demanded the victim’s wallet and key fob.
A fight ensued over a gun in the car.
Several suspects were seen on security video.
