Governor Andy Beshear has awarded $500,000 in grants to four Kentucky riverports for needed infrastructure and equipment upgrades to improve operations.
The Henderson County Riverport Authority will receive $122,000 toward a new truck scale.
The Owensboro Riverport will receive over $163,000 for new forklifts and a track loader.
Eddyville and Paducah-McCracken County Riverport Authorities are also on the list for improvements and will each receive a portion of the grant money.
