The new line of storms on Sunday afternoon caused further damage to the electrical distribution system in southwestern Indiana.
As of 8:00 last night there were around 600 CenterPoint electric customers without power.
Heavy rain, lightening and downed trees slowed the progress of repairs and caused an additional 4,500 outages.
Priority has been given to the 30 customers who remain without power from Thursday.
CenterPoint says 165 customers are without power this morning.
