The City of Henderson has appointed a new Fire Chief.
The decision was finalized on Tuesday during a Board of Commissioners meeting.
Josh Dixon is a 16 year veteran and has been with the department since 2007.
Dixon has worked his way through the ranks being promoted to Engineer in 2011, Lieutenant in 2016 and Division Chief in 2020.
Dixon has lived in Henderson all of his life.
