The West Side Nut Club passed out over a half a million dollars last night at their Founder’s Day Banquet.
Included in the donations were 35 non-profits, Fire and Police Departments and 53 schools.
McCuthanville Fire Department will use their donation to help support the fire prevention publication education program.
GRANTED received $25,000 to be used towards building a new facility.
The House of Hope plans to break ground next April.
GRANTED serves children with terminal or life threatening illnesses in Southern Indiana, Southeastern Illinois and Western Kentucky.
Since 1921 the West Side Nut Club has put close to $9 million back into the community.
