The City of Boonville was chosen as a Phase 3 recipient of a grant to address helping small businesses to combat the COVID-19 impact.
Mayor Charlie Wyatt says this is the third $250,000 grant the city has applied for and gotten.
Supplemental funding is to be used exclusively to assist small businesses in retaining low-to-moderate income jobs.
Besides Boonville, the other eligible communities include Newburgh, New Harmony.
