A Knox County couple were arrested yesterday afternoon and charged with neglect of a dependent.
A criminal investigation has been ongoing by the Indiana State Police since September.
42 year old Aaron Bourland and 34 year old Amanda Bourland are accused of neglect of their four children.
Their ages range from 13 years of age to 2 months old.
The children were living in poor conditions, had little food to consume, and were not receiving proper medical attention.
The Bourlands are in the Knox County jail.
Their children are in the custody of Indiana Division of Child Services.
