Some phony money is showing up in Mt. Carmel Illinois.
Police there say fake one-dollar bills have been circulating.
The bills feel and look right, but have the word COPY printed on the front and For Motion Picture Use Only on the back.
Officers are asking people to take an extra second to check before accepting dollar bills to make sure it’s the real thing.
