Henderson Municipal Gas employees are installing new devices on their customer’s gas meters through the end of the year.
They are installing Encoder Receiver Transmitters on all residential and soon to be commercial gas meters.
This will allow the gas company to read meters without needing to visit customer’s homes.
Doing this will help reduce the need to setup appointments with customers to physically read meters when there is an issue.
Customers can expect to see a Henderson Municipal Gas employee on their property between 8:00 and 3:00, Monday through Friday.
