A Posey County woman responsible for damaging two buildings by way of fire was sentenced to 8 years in prison on Wednesday.
34 year old Sarah Mann pled guilty to multiple charges including arson, attempted residential entry and criminal trespass.
Mann was suspected of setting multiple fires in Mt. Vernon between July 13 and 14, 2022.
Mann admitted to setting fire to a detached garage and a shed at two separate locations.
