Deaconess is hosting a free drive-thru colon cancer screening in recognition of Colorectal Cancer month.
It will be held this Saturday from 8:00 am to 12:00 pm at the Deaconess GI Speciality Center.
Receive a free FIT screening test, or schedule a colonoscopy.
Regular screening, beginning at age 45 is the key to preventing colorectal cancer and finding it early.
According to the American Cancer Society, colon cancer is the 2nd leading cause of cancer deaths among women and men in the U.S.
It has a 90% survival rate when cancer is found and treated early.
