An Evansville girl climbed 80 feet up a pine tree and couldn’t get down.
The 11 year old girl had climbed the tree barefoot all by herself.
It happened around 6:00 last night in the Kingsmont Subdivision.
Several fire departments were called to help with extrication.
Emergency crews safely brought her back to earth by using a rope.
Lt. Ryan Bosecker says, She was awesome the entire time and was following directions and stayed put while she waited for us to get her down.
The girl was taken to the hospital as a precaution.
