The Vanderburgh County Sheriff’s Office is mourning the loss of one of their own.
Thursday, 33 year old Asson Hacker fell ill while participating in training and rushed to Deaconess Midtown hospital by the Evansville Police Department.
Deputy Hacker never regained consciousness.
He joined the Sheriff’s Office in December and was completing his tier one basic training.
Deputy Asson Hacker leaves behind a wife and three young children.
